星期天的晴朗午後， Chris （林育詳）和好友 Michael （of American Muffin）一起來到 Rooftop 的屋頂陽台。非常不幸的，鼓手大雨在大年初一因為一場車禍右腳粉碎性骨折，需要幾個月的修養，不幸中的大幸是醫生說恢復後並不會影響日後打鼓。這個下午主唱 Chris 決定獨自完成錄音。因為天氣晴朗，我們在陽台上架設起麥克風，Chris 在斜斜的太陽下拿著木吉他兀自地演唱起一首台語敘事歌曲『若像昨日』：

『幼稚園大班那一年，
天頂中秋的月娘，
爸爸騎著摩托車戴我們來到海邊，
囝兒的眠夢親像流星。

小學的一年下學期
課本最後的一篇
媽媽將我們的暑假作業放進皮箱
那年的夏天。』

這時候路邊突然傳來了一陣奇怪的喇叭聲，聽起來就像是海邊輪船的汽笛，我望著天邊，不由自主的起了雞皮疙瘩。Chris 並沒有停止，繼續唱著：

『...你說今年的夏天，說不定有它新的意義，
大人的事情，你都留給自己
還記得你牽著我的手走過崎崎嶇嶇的石頭路
還記得妳牽著我的手，感覺若像昨日....』

天色漸漸的暗了，我們把器材收回錄音室裡。Chris 提著紅色的 Riviera 吉他插上了一台 1970年代的 Fender Deluxe Reverb ，默默地喝了兩口 Suntory 的威士忌，我慌張地回到錄音間按下了錄音鍵，Pro Tools 的表頭變成了紅色，錄下了這首僅有兩分多鐘的短歌行。晚飯後，我們和攝影師申佩玉在屋頂上點起小小的藍色煙火，在大概五秒鐘的明滅間結束了一天的工作。
