Sleaze 脫胎自 2008 年成立於台北傑出的 Screamo/gindcore 樂隊用筆來唱歌，雖然 Sleaze 成立初期號稱是台灣首支的 Stoner Metal 樂團，如今不知是隨著 Groove 派鼓手尊龍的加入抑或是團員聆聽喜好的化學變化，大量了減低了 Metal 的成份，反而朝向七零 Psychedelic 及 progressive rock 的路數前進，一曲「那水就像杯忘情水」甚至還帶出了些許 Dub 氣味。
樂團主唱阿儉（林書緯）除了是個優秀的貝斯手外也是個出色的歌手和作詞人，褪去嘶吼的外衣阿儉可以非常自由的處理不同的聲音變化，可以是咆嘯的 Metalcore singer，也可以突然有著台灣七八零年代歌手的神韻，更可以是歇斯底里唸唱的說書人。
阿儉的詞讓 Sleaze 的作品充滿一貫的概念性：黑暗、鬼魅、死亡、靈魂、液體、血、心、宇宙、霧、迷茫、憂愁與孤單，這些詞彙與概念將不同的音樂元素納於一個統一的敘事軸心，也讓多樣化歌曲之間取得平衡。觀眾的情緒隨著音樂如同欣賞一齣高潮迭起的電影般隨之起舞，阿儉就像是個天生的舞台巨星，帶領觀眾們期待著更精采的下一幕，然而這齣劇總在最高潮時拉下布幔。

這次 Rooftop Session 的錄製，阿儉因為工作忙碌的關係不克前來，本來大家已經準備好要來錄製一曲早期 Screamo 風格的早期歌曲『愛』，經過幾次嘗試後因為狀況不佳而作罷。樂團成員們於是開始了長達一個半小時長的 improvise/jam session。這次的 Sleaze 除了之前專輯成員外，更加入了一位 Free Jazz Saxphone 高手黃動物，頓時讓樂團成為了一個 blues rock/Free Jazz outfit。阿儉在團員們收工後才來到 Rooftop ，將長達九十分鐘的片段去蕪存菁重新剪輯組合成為一曲五分鐘完整的歌曲，並疊錄上人聲和吉他。這樣如同德國前衛搖滾樂團 Can 的製作方式為這張合輯提供了讓人驚喜的閉幕曲，歌名 O)))) 似乎也讓本曲多了一分對西雅圖 Drone Metal 樂隊致敬的心情！
